Duke-UNC China Leadership Summit

I was honored to serve as a delegate and photographer for the Duke–UNC China Leadership Summit, capturing moments from this year’s theme, Bridging the Pacific: Charting the Course of U.S.–China Relations. As someone who studies China and has a deep academic interest in U.S.–China relations, documenting three days of rigorous dialogue and connection was especially meaningful. Speakers including David J. Firestein, Min Fan of the U.S. Heartland China Association, Shelley Rigger (whose books line my shelves), and Alex Wang, offered insight into one of the most consequential relationships of our time. Thank you to Duke University for hosting such a purposeful convening—an experience that perfectly reflects the kind of intellectually driven, purpose-filled events I’m always excited to document.
