Beijing Foreign Studies University 北京外国语大学

I was hosted by Beijing Foreign Studies University for a summer program. Much of Beijing reminded me of home, while the university itself reaffirmed my love for language, cultural exchange, and the connections that emerge through cross-cultural study.

Friendship can diminish the perception of distance between cultures. For me, the most significant part of this experience has been the relationships built. Cross-cultural collaboration develops through conversation and shared encounters. I am happy to carry with me all our experiences and friendships established here as I continue to pursue partnerships overseas.
